Windows Phone 8 New Features

June 20, 2012 – Microsoft announced next version of Windows Phone OS (Apollo). This version having many features then first two major. And also bad news for Current Windows Phone end users. They can’t get this Apollo in they’re devices 🙁 . But, They can try Same experience with Windows Phone 7.8 version. Microsoft announced this version for current Windows Phones.

1) New Start Screen

2) Native Code Support (C and C++ (and also VB and C# remain same))

3) Wallet (Secure way to pay bills ‘Tap to pay’)

4) NFC sharing (Tap and Share)

5) Differentiate Screen changes (800 x 480 (WVGA 15.9) ,  1280 x 768 (WXGA 15.9)  and 1280 x 720 (720p 16.9))

6) Internet Explorer 10 (Which work same like PC Browser)

7) Multi-Core Chipsets

8) MicroSD Support (To save Photos, Videos and Installing apps)

9) Encryption and Secure Boot

10) Nokia Maps

Bad news is Current Windows user won’t get this new version of Windows Phone 8 (Apollo) in they’re devices. But, they will get one more update from Microsoft with version name Windows Phone 7.8. It is like Windows Phone 8 preview.
