SkyDrive in Windows 8

In Windows 8, the “DNA (Distributed interNet Applications Architecture)” of SkyDrive and the Mesh file sync technology will merge into a single service, Especially, SkyDrive will be integrated as an application on Windows upcoming operating system (Windows 8), SkyDrive files will be accessible from the desktop via Windows Explorer and users will be able to get files remotely from their hard drive through SkyDrive.com.

The SkyDrive application included with Windows 8 will be a Metro style App, meaning its user interface will be optimized for touch screen-based devices like tablets, and it will make it possible for people to access their SkyDrive accounts from any other Metro style application through Windows 8 controls for opening, saving and sharing files. Advantage of this functionality, end users only need to register an email address on a PC running Windows 8, after which “whenever you save files on SkyDrive, every Windows 8 device you use will provide seamless access to those files,”.

Windows 8 will also have a usual desktop application for SkyDrive, to be managed via Windows Explorer. Users will be able to store and retrieve SkyDrive files through a drag-and-drop interface.

Through a sync functionality based on Mesh, people will be able to have desktop copies of their SkyDrive files, and synchronize changes so that versions are kept consistent both locally and on the cloud. Finally, SkyDrive on Windows 8 will also let users remotely access files that they’ve opted to only store locally on a PC’s hard drive.

Then windows 8 users can choose to add the packs and use them as the display language in the entire OS. Microsoft will offer 109 display languages in win8, compare to win 7 its introducing 14 more display languages. In that New United Kingdom version is one of that packs. And also Briton people are going to see the word “Colour” instead of “color” throughout win 8 operating system.

Microsoft is also increasing the support to 13 other countries, including Belarusian (Belarus), Kinyarwanda (Rwanda), Punjabi (Pakistan),Tigrinya (Ethiopia), Tajik (Tajikistan), Sindhi (Pakistan), Central Kurdish (Iraq), Uyghur (People’s Republic of China), Wolof (Senegal), K’iche’ (Guatemala), Scottish Gaelic (United Kingdom), Cherokee (United States), Valencia (Spain).

In an event Microsoft employe (India) told the next version of Windows Phone support C++ for lower-level programming likely designed to game developers who need to performance out of the hardware.

So,it seems we can get more updates/features in Apollo than Tango. Apollo is the next version of Windows Phone OS name. Because Microsoft increasing performance version by version and adding bulk of features.

In one word the Windows Phone user never (need to) install any other apps. Because it comes with mostly all featured apps like People Hub, Xbox Games, Zune and so on.

1) Nokia Lumia 910 with 12 MP camera and it is coming soon

2) Nokia Lumia 800 with white color for Australians in March (2012) , it’s confirmed!

3) Nokia 900 coming to England, Portugal and Russia in June, 2012

There are just gossips about Windows Phone and OS. There is no official confirmation yet  other than White Nokia Lumia 800.

Xcode 4.2 and iPhone 3g

I check with all settings,  I given support from iOS 3.0 and I changed my provisioning profile download freshly and setup. But no use then after several tries I found the solution while Bing for it.

Here is the solution steps:-

1) Go to info.plist file and check for “Required device Capabilities“  key. if it is present check with items.

2) If this key contains sub key item(s) value with “armv7“. Then just remove that item or make items count Zero / 0.

3) Next go to Build settings of your target and find the setting “Architectures” and add “armv6” to existing value. Please check with image above how it looks like.

4) Now select your device and Start running (Command + R).

The buttons will be open within normal Windows operations. But if problems with Windows 8 become serious and user unable get into the boot process to access operating system, then also, the two buttons are available in windows recovery environment.

Those Available buttons are as follows:

• Reset
• Refresh

Reset:

This button works effectively wash out the hard disk drive and reinstall Windows 8. This will destroy all user data previously stored on the hard drive, and is therefore considered a last option solution. Microsoft has also suggested this option could be used by people planning to pass their computer on to a new user, who are therefore seeking an easy way to make it “like new,” and completely from scratch.

Refresh:

This button is designed to reduce the loss of user data. It carries out a more difficult operation: copying some data to unused drive space before reinstalling Windows, then making the saved data available within the restored system. The saved user data will include Windows passwords and user accounts as well as most Windows settings, personal data, and documents. The Windows 8 equivalent to a Smartphone app store.

Second Option Allow to Boot from USB stick:

Windows 8 user will also be able to pack a USB memory stick with the Windows recovery environment (WRE), so that if the computer collapse and is not bootable from the hard disk drive, so users can  able to start their systems from the USB stick and promptly access the two new recovery buttons.

Here, both the buttons are used to reinstall the OS when system met the serious hard drive crashes.

These are the steps to skip the screen:

–>Switch on the system –> press F2 or F10 according to the processor –> Goto CMOS Advanced Features –> Goto HALT –> ENTER and select NO ERRORS –>Press F10 –> Press Y and ENTER.

Your system BIOS settings has been changed and henceforth system won’t ask you to press F1.

The company is providing minimum hardware requirements for x86, x64 and ARM Processors -based tablets running the upcoming Windows 8 OS. Devices will need at least 10 GB of HD free space, a 1366 x 768 screen resolution, Bluetooth 4.0 + LTE(Long Term Evaluation – is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data Transfer), a 720p camera and more. Microsoft begins to set the foundation for tablets, defining bezel width, boot latency, required hardware buttons and required components. Also, include at least one USB 2.0 port, a magnetometer, speakers, and an accelerometer.

Windows 8 touch PCs must use digitizers supporting a minimum of five points, a requirement that is probably designed to avoid consumer confusion over multi touch machines. Microsoft is planning to support NFC (Near field communication) technology in Windows 8, and PCs that take advantage of NFC must have “touch marks” that are marked on the hardware to prevent users from having to search for the touch point. Microsoft requires that Windows 8 tablet/convertible PCs have 5 hardware buttons. Those buttons are:

Microsoft requires that Windows 8 PCs joined to a domain and without keyboards implement new Ctrl+Alt+Del sequence. While the on-screen keyboard remains an option for logging into a domain-joined PC, the quicker (and new) option is to press Windows Key + Power.
